One thing I love about doing pet portraits is that it keeps the memory of a much loved pet alive. Thanks so much to Laura for sharing your story about Winston with us.

“I found TK on Facebook by liking something she had posted and then was invited to like her page. She then started popping up in my news feed and once I saw she had painted sausage dogs before, I couldn’t resist.

Our dog was so special to us that I didn’t want his memory to fade away, I wanted to be able to celebrate the wonderful times he gave us as a family. Having a portrait of him that we can look at and smile at every day makes us feel like he is still in our lives.

Thanks for keeping Winston looking happy and vibrant. He looks WONDERFUL (I especially love his nose and whiskers)!”
