Just got this lovely note from Stacey Turner.

This year, Jane Stafford, our Executive General Manager of Claims, and Matt Kayrooz, our Chief of CTP will walk 300 km over 9 days to raise money for Youngcare who continue to work for 7,000 young Australians with high care needs that are living in aged care simply because there are few other options for them to receive dignified, relevant and age-appropriate care and housing.

GIO are supporting them by raising funds for their participation in the 2016 Youngcare Simpson Desert Challenge. We held a Trivia event here in Canberra on April 1st 2016.

The Canberra Branch of GIO are committed to continue our support of Youngcare, and had requested Tracey Keller’s support to assist Jane, Matt and the Canberra Branch to achieve this years fund raising target.

Tracey kindly made a generous donation of cushion covers and a gorgeous print which we used in a silent auction and also a raffle.

Thanks to the generosity of the participants on the night, and the wonderful support of Tracey and others, our trivia night raised over $11,000.00 to go towards the cause and assist Youngcare in their ongoing work for young Australians who are currently living in aged care.

I am constantly amazed and inspired by Tracey, her ability to bring joy to everyone not only though her art but her genuine heart and gorgeous soul.

Thanks again Tracey, the night would not have been possible without the generosity of people like yourself.
