Frequently Asked Questions About Pet Portraits By Tracey Keller

What Does the Pet Interview Look Like?

Tracey wants to learn not only about the animal, but also its idiosyncrasies and quirks. She asks the owner to give her a small essay about themselves and their animal. This energy is what I then translate onto the canvas.

What’s the Difference between a Pet Portrait on Paper vs a Pet Portrait on Canvas?

Tracey Keller’s works on canvas and works on paper differ in several ways. Firstly, works on paper are considered as the entry level portrait of Tracey’s collection. They are watercolor-style and lack the texture found in her larger paintings. Additionally, they require framing to be displayed. You can choose to have their framed at checkout. However, these works still manage to capture the essence of your beloved pet and are more affordable.

On the other hand, works on canvas come ready to hang on a wooden stretcher. They are highly textured and are considered as Tracey’s signature style. These paintings are big, bold, shiny, and joyous. You have the option to choose to have them framed or not.

In summary, while both works on canvas and works on paper are joyous and capture the essence of your pet, works on canvas are more textured, ready to hang, and are considered as Tracey’s signature style. Works on paper, on the other hand, are more affordable and require framing to be displayed.
