Sometimes I am massively saddened by what is going on in this world and then, massively inspired with the changes I see in the world.

I mean, think about it… Johnson & Johnson getting sued $72m, Mars recalling bars in 55 countries, Monsanto finally getting a taste of what’s to come, Russia/Europe’s take on organic food, Salmonella in lettuce at Coles & Woolies. Outdated advice from doctors and more and more people dying from entering the hospital systems worldwide.  Yuck.

Sad…

THEN stuff happens that really affirms my trust in my locals, my garden, my local farms, my decision to cut out refined sugar consumption, my support for small businesses and the little guys. My support for my health and the well-being of those around me. My belief that the community should actually share a “common” ground, rather than just consumption.

I think in 10 years’ time there’ll be a heck of a lot more of us investing in and buying food from farms, taking responsibility for our well-being and not putting our trus

t in giant corporate businesses. Because if you pay attention, they all seem to be getting sued, poisoning us, causing cancer and then killing us in hospital from poor management and old systems.

So yay. I’m so inspired at how things are changing. In my case, for the better!
